Meet Spencer Moore
Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and now based in Barcelona, Spain, Spencer is a women’s health advocate, certified women’s health coach, breast health educator, and breathwork instructor. After more than four decades of navigating complex and overlapping mental and physical health diagnoses, she reached a pivotal moment at 40 when early-stage breast cancer was detected on her first mammogram.
Spencer founded The Hairy Chin in 2024 around a question she could not shake: women are told to advocate for their health, but who is actually teaching them how? She decided she would. Through the podcast, newsletter, advocacy tools, patient toolkits, and independent research, she teaches women practical skills to participate actively in their healthcare.
